VII Integrated Continuous Biomanufacturing Conference
From October 5th to 9th, DIG4BIO team members took part in the VII Integrated Continuous Biomanufacturing Conference, held in Dubrovnik, Croatia.This event brings together leading scientists from both academia and industry from around the world who are advancing continuous biomanufacturing.Ana Azevedo was part of the steering committee and Ana Rita Santos delivered a poster snapshot presentation on “Continuous alkaline lysis of plasmid-containing E. coli cells using an oscillatory flow reactor”. This work highlights the possibility of using this technology in continuous mode to increase plasmid DNA release from cells.

📚  Last month, under the scope of the DIG4BIO project, we ran a 15-𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 focused on writing competitive proposals for #Horizon_Europe Pillar 2 calls. With over 35 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, the course combined hands-on sessions with practical guidance on how to structure a strong application, from 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.
