We are thrilled to share the success of the workshop “Design and Operation of Experiments in Parallel Systems” held online on 1–2 October 2025. From May 26–28, Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon) hosted the AI for Research Management Bootcamp — a hybrid event that welcomed 50 participants from Técnico, DTU – Technical University of Denmark, and Technische Universität Berlin. On April 4th, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a hybrid training school dedicated to the advanced use of BioVL, the virtual laboratory developed by the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Participants joined us to explore the BioVL platform, gaining hands-on experience in bioprocess modeling and simulation. From navigating different bioprocess models to testing simulation parameters—and even interacting with a custom AI-powered chatbot—this workshop offered a unique blend of theory and practice.
