Mechanistic modelling in bioprocess engineering: from theory to application
In this 4-day training school, attendees will explore and learn about the intricacies of mechanistic modelling for microbial cultivations. The course will cover the principles of describing microbial cultivations using biological reaction rate models, including selecting an initial model structure and determining model parameter values using example datasets. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will gain a deeper understanding of these concepts and improve their ability to predict and optimize microbial cultivation processes for real-world applications in their research.
