PROJECT
& OBJECTIVES
What?
Dig4Bio is a Twinning action that aims to advance the research capacity and profile of IST & IST-ID (PT) in the field of digitalization of biomanufacturing. Special focus is also placed on strengthening the research management and administrative skills of IST-ID.
How?
This will be achieved through a strategic alliance with experts in the field of digital biotechnology from PROSYS, DTU (Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, DK) and in lab automation from TUB (KIWI-biolab, Chair of Bioprocess Engineering DE).
Dig4Bio spans 36 months and is structured around 6 interconnected Work Packages (WPs) that encompass various aspects of research, training, collaboration, and dissemination.
WORK-PACKAGES
To enhance the excellence capacity and research profile of IST/IST-ID by scientific training and knowledge exchange activities.
To strengthen the research management capacities and administrative skills of IST and IST-ID staff.
Addresses the research question “How to digitalize the biomanufacturing processes of pDNA”?
To promote synergies between consortium partners with key stakeholders, and enhance project outcomes.
Implementation of a dissemination and communication plan, to promote DIG4BIO visibility.
