Project management and coordination

OBJECTIVES

Main Goal:

ensure that the objectives of the project are met,
the planned activities run smoothly and in an orchestrated way,
project administration is accurate and in accordance with EC guidelines and requirements,
internal communication is efficient,
reporting to the EC is timely.

Management Bodies

Management Committee led by IST and composed by the WP leaders to ensure 1 representative from each of the advanced partners;
Training committee composed by the leaders of the capacity-driven tasks (DTU and TUB).

WORKFLOW

6.1. Network coordination and organisation of project meetings

Coordination

IST (project coordinator :: Ana Azevedo) will be responsible for the overall management of the Project, supported by IST-ID RMs and the additional Management Bodies.

6.2. Overall project management and reporting

Operational activities:

execution of the CA;
budget controlling and accounting;
securing any legal, contractual, financial obligations within the project;
project monitoring and reporting;
securing a collaborative and reliable workspace for information flow amongst partners, Advisory Board, Stakeholders.

Delivery of the Project Management Handbook (PMH): 

Living document containing an overview of the project governance, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.

6.3. Data Management Plan

Lead: DTU
Duration: M1-M36

DMP will address all aspects of the data life cycle. It will detail the type of data, measures for data collection, consent procedures, storage (Dig4Bio project repository), protection, retention and destruction of data, and confirmation of compliance with national and EU legislation.
