DIG4BIO Training Schools – Register Now!
We are pleased to announce two upcoming hybrid Training Schools as part of the DIG4BIO project, aimed at providing researchers and professionals with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in bioprocess modeling and digital learning tools. These training sessions offer an opportunity to learn from experts, explore advanced modeling techniques, and enhance skills in bioprocess engineering.
Mechanistic Modelling in Bioprocess Engineering: From Theory to Application
Date: 31st March – 3rd April 2025
Format: Hybrid event
This four-day training school will introduce participants to mechanistic modelling for microbial cultivations. The course covers the fundamentals of biological reaction rate models, guiding participants through selecting an initial model structure and determining model parameter values using real datasets. Practical exercises and case studies will help participants understand and apply these concepts to predict and optimize microbial cultivation processes.

Advanced Use of BioVL and E-Learning Tools
Date: 4th April 2025
Format: Hybrid event
This training school offers an interactive learning experience with BioVL, a virtual laboratory developed at the Technical University of Denmark. Participants will learn how to simulate bioprocess models, assess the performance of a simulation, and apply e-learning tools for bioprocess modeling. A tailored AI chatbot will be available throughout the session to assist participants with questions and clarifications.
